What happens now
The reply comes from a person, not a system
No autoresponder and no queue. One of us reads it, checks the calendar, and writes back with a real answer.

We read it properly
The date, the guest count, and any flavours you mentioned get looked at together. If something is missing that we need, the first reply will be a short question rather than a price.

We check the week
Every week is capped at twelve orders, so this is the part that decides everything. If your date is open, you will hear a price. If it is not, you will hear that first.

You get a sketch
For custom cakes the reply comes with a rough drawing and a flavour list. Change it as many times as you like. Nothing goes on the bench until you are happy with it.

A deposit holds the date
Thirty percent, and the date is yours. The rest is due on pickup. If you need to move the date later, that is usually fine as long as the new week has room.
Nothing about your message is passed on to anyone else. What we do with the details is covered in the privacy policy, and the deposit and cancellation rules sit in the terms and conditions.
