Custom Celebration Cakes
Tiers, flavours, colours, and hand-piped detail for birthdays, weddings, and the rest.
Contacts
Belarim takes orders by phone, email, and the form on this page, and answers every message within one working day. Tell us the date, the guest count, and any flavours you already have in mind, and you will get a real price back rather than a request for a call.
Fastest way to reach us. Answered Monday to Friday, and Saturday mornings.
Pickup by appointment only. Ring the bell at the side door.
Saturday 9:00 - 14:00 for pickups. Closed Sunday and public holidays.
Enquiries
The more you write, the more useful the reply. A date and a rough guest count get you a price; a photo gets you a design.
We read every message ourselves, so there is no queue and no chatbot. If your date is already full, that is the first thing the reply will say, and we will suggest the nearest date we can still manage. Nothing worse than waiting two days for a no.

Getting here
The studio sits in a row of small workshops, not a shopfront. It is easier to find than it looks once you know what to look for.
Coming by car, use the visitor bays at the front of the building. There are four of them and they are free for the first hour, which is plenty for a pickup. The side door is the one you want; the main roller door is for deliveries and stays shut.
On public transport, the nearest stop is about a six minute walk. If you are collecting a tiered cake on a warm day, bring a cool bag or a flat box with a towel in it. A cake that survives an hour in a hot car is not the same cake that leaves our bench, and we would rather you took the trouble before pickup than after.
Deliveries run within the metro area and are quoted by distance and time of day. Anything tiered travels in a van with a flat floor, with someone holding the box the whole way. That last part is not a figure of speech.

Pickups are by appointment, so send a message before you drive over. There is no counter service and no walk-in cake to buy.
Before you write
If one of these covers your question, it saves you waiting a day for a reply.
Within one working day, and usually the same afternoon if the message arrives before lunch. Monday mornings are the busiest, so a message sent on Sunday night might not be answered until Monday afternoon.
Afraid not. We are baking most of the day and the door stays locked for hygiene reasons. Message first, and we will find a time that does not put your cake next to an open oven.
Thirty pieces for a platter, and we will mix two or three kinds within that. For catering outside the metro area, the delivery quote usually decides whether it makes sense.
Tell us as early as you can. Moving a date within the same month is usually fine if the calendar allows. Moving it into a week that is already full is the tricky case, and the deposit rules in our terms apply.
We can bake without nuts and we make a gluten-free sponge in a separate tin with separate tools. What we cannot promise is a nut-free kitchen. If the allergy is severe, please say so in your message and we will be honest about what we can safely do.
Two services
Most enquiries land in one of these two. Read the page, then send whatever questions are left.
Tiers, flavours, colours, and hand-piped detail for birthdays, weddings, and the rest.
Trays of mini tarts, éclairs, and choux bites for offices, launches, and afternoon events.
We cap the week at twelve orders, so popular dates fill months ahead. If your date matters, message early even if the details are still fuzzy. Changing a flavour two weeks out is easy; finding an empty slot the week before is not.
